Associate Designer (Jewelry)

Responsibilities
  • Develop jewelry designs based on seasonal concepts and fashion trends provided by the team and partners, ensuring they meet target price points and timelines
  • Support design team by contributing to concept development and researching new materials and techniques
  • Document key feedback and action items during concept and sketch review presentations to support team alignment and partner approvals
  • Work with team to communicate with overseas factory vendors on material research, Computer-Aided Design (CAD) development, and sample images review
  • Create spec sheets for all approved designs
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to create collections that meet overall business needs of the company and appeal to the target customers
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Jewelry, Fashion, Accessory, Product Design, or a related field
  • 1-3+ years of experience in jewelry and/or accessory design
  • Strong computer skills including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of jewelry specifications, construction, testing standards, sourcing, and costing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate design concepts effectively
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive team player with integrity and problem-solving abilities
Nice To Haves:
    • Metal-smithing/sample making experience
    • 3D modeling experience​​​​​​​
Salary: Commensurate with experience, beginning at $65,000 annually.
